MacIlraith a Certified Ceramic Tile Consultant and a Licensed Contractor
Charlotte
MacIlraith attended Wright Jr. College and Graduated from San Francisco City College,
majoring in home economics. She owned two restaurants in downtown San Francisco
before starting her first housecleaning company. She has always loved cleaning
and seems to have a natural gift for making things sparkle .She then expanded
into commercial accounts maintaining large office buildings.
In 1980, Charlotte had the great pleasure of meeting Mr. Manual Magallanes, founder
of Aqua Mix, Inc., one of the first companies to manufacture water base products
made specifically for tile. He has been her mentor ever since and has taught her
every aspect of the tile cleaning business. She remembers the first time she met
Manual, he said: "You work hard to put butter on the table, would you like to
learn how to own the butter company?" Her answer was, " absolutely" She has never
looked back. From that conversation she started Ceramic Tile Refinishers. She
has over 20 years of hands-on experience in cleaning, detailing and sealing tile,
stone, marble, grout joints and much more. She is also an expert in all aspects
of the various detailed jobs in tile restoration. She has earned the reputation
of solving problems others say cannot be resolved. Thus her title "World-renowned
Tile Expert.
In
1988, Charlotte attended the Ceramic Tile Institutes, C.T.C. Class (Ceramic Tile
Consultant) and was one of only 25 people accepted that year. She graduated at
the end of 1988 and received her certificate as a Certified Ceramic Tile Consultant.
She attends numerous classes yearly to keep up her certification.
In
1992, Charlotte passed the test and received her California State Contractors
License. In 2000, she received her Home Improvement License, issued by the State
of California. She keeps active in her industry keeping up with the ever-changing
market.
She
is a regular on "Your Home Show" channel 1130 am, a San Diego based do-it-yourself
radio show. She has also been a guest on HGTV with Matty Monford.
This
past year she has brought to the market Charlotte's Custom Products her own line
of cleaning products, tools and cleaning kits. After almost 20 years in the tile
cleaning industry and years of experience and experimentation with various products
and never finding the perfect product she decided to create one. Her vision, to
make the finest cleaning products available on the market today. These cleaning
products were developed by her using the latest technology for tile care and giving
you exactly what is wanted and needed to make cleaning easy and effortless.
Charlotte
writes a column, Buckets of Information, for a local newspaper, which has been
well received with numerous requests for the past four years.
Charlotte's forthcoming book promises to be the premier tile information highway.
She is working on how-to videos and a set of how-to books. Watch for her!
Mrs. MacIlraith has opened an international import company, Custom Saltillo International,
a custom-stained Mexican floor Paver manufacturing company located in San Diego,
California. CSI is comfortably positioned to claim its share of a 70 billion-dollar
industry.
She currently attends "The Entrepreneurial Edge - From Vision to Profit Having
It All" a course in business that teaches you empowerment tools that quantum leap
you in the business world.
